As a passionate and experienced tour guide fluent in French and Spanish, I’ve spent the last 12 years creating unforgettable adventures in the captivating landscapes of Sumatra. My deep-rooted love for this diverse region, with its vibrant cultures, lush rainforests, and breathtaking wildlife, fuels your commitment to offering truly immersive and personalized travel experiences. As a dedicated tour operator, we don’t just show people around, we craft stories, foster connections, and reveal hidden gems that only a true local expert could know. Every tour we lead is an invitation to discover Sumatra through a unique lens: from trekking through remote jungles and spotting rare wildlife to exploring the vibrant local markets and savoring the authentic flavors of the region. With great organization and good communication skills, I developed a creative travel industry focused on community and sustainable ecotourism. I believe our unique program carefully designed for travelers passionate about culture, and nature enthusiasts will bring an educational experience during our trip.
Through my passion for history, culture, and language, I am dedicated to making sure the travelers will immerse themselves deep into the local culture. How does this experience work ?
We work closely with the welcoming tribal families and the local community to ensure your visit supports, rather than disrupts their way of life. All interactions are guided by local experts, and participation or photography is done with permission.
You'll be accompanied by local guides and interpreters who are deeply familiar with the customs, language, and environment. They act as cultural bridges, helping you engage respectfully and gain a deeper understanding of the tribe’s daily life and traditions
Your visit directly supports the local community. We ensure the Mentawai families are fairly compensated for their time, knowledge, and hospitality. Our focus is on meaningful cultural exchange that respects their privacy, traditions, and way of life
We travel in small groups to minimize disruption, with the number of travelers agreed upon in advance with the host family from the tribe.
